I worked with Lizzie over a couple of months. I had ‘outgrown’ my old wardrobe and really felt like how I was dressing was not representing my brand and who I was as a coach. I just didn’t feel comfortable in the clothes I was wearing but didn’t know where to start…and I hate shopping!
Lizzie assessed what support I might need and then took me on a journey! We started with a Vision board where we explored my style. It was an alien concept to consider that I had a style, but Lizzie guided me through the process and what we produced was so insightful and really shined a light on why I had been struggling.
We then did a colour analysis where I learned not only what my colours were but how much and little to use them and how to flex through the seasons. As someone who wore black almost exclusively, this was quite the journey, but Lizzie empowered me with the knowledge I needed to be able to feel comfortable in introducing colour in to my wardrobe in a way that felt natural and authentic.
We then did a body mapping and style analysis which was a total game changer. Learning what my body type is, what clothes to wear in what style, shape, fabric etc was so practical. Lizzie again made sure she was empowering me with practical knowledge rather than making this ‘style’ thing out to be a dark art that only some can achieve. She had so much knowledge and the style file I got afterwards elaborated on everything we went through and gave me a blue print to how to style myself ongoing.
Our shopping session for a new wardrobe was quite the experience – Lizzie gently stretched me out of my comfort zone and I again learned so much from her. How to style clothes (not just wear them), how to create a wardrobe and how to pick the right things for me. I used to walk past 99% of what was in the shop without even considering it. Now that’s completely changed, and I can more confidently hone in on what’s right for me and experiment.
I had worked so hard on my career and psychological development for such a long time that I had completely ignored my development on the outside and not noticed its negative effects on my well-being. I feel more comfortable in my skin, I feel more congruent, I look like my personality and represent my brand more authentically. And, I am so much happier. Thank you, Lizzie, you have genuinely changed my life and I cannot thank you enough.
